HAS THE GOSPEL MESSAGE LOST SOME OF ITS GLORY SINCE FIRST DELIVERED?

"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.. And all was very good" [Gen 1:1, 27 and 31]. ("And won't He give the Spirit to them that ask Him?" Luke 11:13) ...God's rescue from the outcome of "missing the mark" sin "was finished from the foundation/creation of the world" [Heb 4:3]. "My word that goes out from my mouth will accomplish all I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it" [Is 55:11]. Perfect, makes no mistakes. Can lose nothing. Ultimately all will repent.. there may even "be weeping and gnashing of teeth" in "outer darkness" but - "In Christ all will be made alive! Each in his own order - those who are Christ’s at His coming, then the end when Christ hands the kingdom over to God the Father.. that He may be all in all" [1 Cor 15:22-28].

He Is The Rock - His Work Is Perfect

I was pondering about the word "aionian" (used in conjunction with punishment) and how yes, it does include in its possible meaning and uses such things as "perpetual" ..and "without an end in sight" when I opened a King James version bible, and happened to open at the concordance and the word "perish". And I thought 'now here's a description of perish' so I read the references. And I thought they turned out very interesting.

Numbers 17:12 - ..."we die, we perish, we all perish."
Job 34:15 - "All flesh shall perish together.."
Psalm 1:6 - .."the way of the ungodly shall perish."
Matthew 8:25 - .."Lord, save us, we perish."
Matthew 18:14 - "...that one of these little ones should perish." ("Not the will of the Father")
2 Peter 3:9 - .."not willing that any should perish.."

Next I noticed, "perfect"

Deuteronomy 32:4 - "He is the Rock, his work is perfect.."
Psalm 19:7 - "The law of the Lord is perfect.." (Ultimately, His Law is Love.)
Matthew 5:48 - "Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect."
1 Corinthians 13:10 - "when that which is perfect is come.."
2 Corinthians 12:9 - "..strength.. perfect in weakness.."
James 1:4 - "Let patience have her perfect work.."
James 1:25 - .."perfect law of liberty.."
1 John 4:17 - .."our love made perfect.."

Then the word "musick" caught my attention - the k just does not look right! And I noticed "he heard music and dancing.." Who heard music and dancing? I thought.

It was Luke 15:25, the parable of the prodigal son. The other son came in from the field and heard music and dancing.. Instead of thinking "wow a party!" and later "thank Yahweh my brother's home", he was angry. This brother to my mind became the devout 'hell' believer. And he was under a false gospel! Instead of rejoicing in the day and giving thanks, he had been ruminating on all he'd lost.. All he had given up for Jesus.. We need pray for such a brother!

And at conclusion, I noticed the word "promise"! ..as in I give you my word..
"He is the Rock, His work is perfect!.."
